I purchase this brand of protein powder, which is especially ideal for vegans, because it does not contain dairy (whey) or soy, the latter of which I feel our foods are already inundated with enough. It makes an excellent morning hot-cereal mix-in. The taste took some getting used to at first, but now I actually love it and don't like to eat oats/hot rice cereal without it! I prefer the original over the chocolate or vanilla because those contain stevia -- which is likely harmless in small doses (i.e. one VitaminWater Zero drink) -- but, as it tends to lower blood pressure, I did not want to subject myself to 2.2 lbs. of it. This product used to come in a large cylindrical canister, but now it comes in a resealable bag. I think I preferred the canister for its ease of use and closure, but the bag is probably more space-friendly. Comes with a plastic scooper. Highly recommended product. Timely shipping. I just wish Sun Warrior would go organic!

I am very happy with this protein powder. It is totally natural, made from raw brown rice, and is non-soy, which is so important. The consistency is almost totally smooth. I can tell it's there but it's not really grainy like other protein powders. I already had the vanilla flavor and it was way too overpowering, so I like this unflavored better. I actually mix the two together and it's great that way, too.

This stuff is great. I was using Figure 8 Protein before and it was good too but I wanted to try something a little more elaborate. Then I found the Sunwarrior Food and this stuff is totally Awesome. To my taste, it took a little bit to get used to all natural flavor as I didn't want anything artificially flavored. They do make Choco and Vanilla but having the natural flavor lets your added fruits or vegetable create the flavor. I juice a lot of veggies so having a choco-spinich-brocoli-carrot drink may not be the best tasting combo drink.
None the less, you will not be disappointed. It's not all gritty like other protein shakes that I've had. Ditch that store bought junk that you get for $20 and get Sunwarrior. Sure this stuff is more pricier but you get what you pay for. And what I normally do, combind this protein with hemp, cacao(bean or powder), maca, flaxseed, raw honey and you got yourself an amazing superfood powerdrink. For the fruity flavor go for some coconut, banana, goji & blueberries!!! For the veggie flavor, go for carrots, cilantro, swiss chard, beets, and organic cabbage!!!

This is a very good source of (vegan) amino acids/protein. And it does not contain artificial sweeteners like other flavors. (Just expensive, but it lasts a long time, maybe they could make a smaller size for less money?)...But highly recommended!

When I was looking at a Gluten-free product to add to my fruit smoothie, I had to choose between the vanilla which a friend had recommended, and this natural flavor. I chose the natural, because my previous vanilla flavored whey powder had been so awful... and I've regretted it. Unless you're adding it to something with a naturally strong flavor, the product itself has a unpleasant smell and almost rubber taste that I could easily distinguish in my fruit smoothie when I was hoping it would just taste like the fruit! I've finally found the right mix of additives (Stevia, vanilla and tossing in some mangos) to make it taste better, but it took some time.
Other than that, the protein content seems right and it's very easy to digest, and the price is very good. I have since tried the vanilla, and I can recommend that flavor without hesitation! I'm reserving this power to add to sauces and other things.
